      <description>Spinach&lt;br/&gt;Almond Milk&lt;br/&gt;Frozen blueberries (small handful)&lt;br/&gt;1/2 Frozen Banana&lt;br/&gt;Hemp protein powder&lt;br/&gt;Spirulina- for natural energy and sustaining satiation&lt;br/&gt;Flaxseed if needed for those with constipation&lt;br/&gt;Cod Fish Oil&lt;br/&gt;Probiotic powder- if not taking probiotic pearls already&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;This gets a lot of the good stuff into your day all at once.  &lt;br/&gt;If you skip breakfast, you are setting yourself up for Diabetes.  &lt;br/&gt;If you don’t get enough protein, you will crave sugar.   &lt;br/&gt;If you eat dead food for every breakfast you will feel dead.&lt;br/&gt;So eat some live food in the morning for wonderful energy and health!!!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <title>Roasted Brussel Sprouts</title>

      <description>Brussel Sprouts- Courtesy of Marilyn Shore / Chiropractor&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Ingredients:&lt;br/&gt;1 lb fresh brussel sprouts&lt;br/&gt;1 lemon&lt;br/&gt;3 tbs olive oil&lt;br/&gt;Cayenne pepper&lt;br/&gt;3 cloves chopped garlic&lt;br/&gt;1 tsp sea-salt &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Cut sprouts in half.  Place in sprouts roasting pan or suitable pyrex dish and mix well with olive oil, lemon juice &amp;amp; cayenne pepper (optional), chopped garlic &amp;amp; sea salt.  Roast on 350 until crispy!&lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <title>Thanksgiving Black Bean Soup</title>

      <description>Courtesy of Dana Hillman&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We call it ‘Thanksgiving’ because he used to make his Turkey (before he became a vegetarian) with cumin and similar spices and this resembles the yummy gravy that  he would make for Thanksgiving!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2 can’s black beans, drained&lt;br/&gt;1 red pepper, chopped&lt;br/&gt;1 lime, freshly squeezed&lt;br/&gt;1/2 while onion, chopped&lt;br/&gt;1 tablespoon chopped garlic&lt;br/&gt;1/3 cup Cilantro leaves chopped&lt;br/&gt;1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes&lt;br/&gt;1 tsp cumin&lt;br/&gt;1/2 tsp sea salt&lt;br/&gt;1/2 tsp Allspice &lt;br/&gt;2 tablespoons Fajita seasoning&lt;br/&gt;Chicken or vegetable stock to desired consistency&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Saute onion, red pepper and all dry spices in 2 tablespoons of olive oil until soft.  Add garlic, saute 5 more minutes on low.  Then add stock and rinsed beans.  Cook 30 minutes.  add lime juice and cilantro and 1 tsp salt.  Puree with hand blender or food processor. &lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <title>Dana’s favorite Green Shake</title>

      <description>Here’s the recipe that my husband uses.  He’s certainly no hardcore “Greenie” and up until recently, the majority of all the food he ate was a shade of brown or tan, but he loves this and actually prefers it for breakfast these days!  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;1 ripe banana&lt;br/&gt;1 type of discretionary fruit (mango, peach, blueberries, strawberries, etc.&lt;br/&gt;1 generous handful of greens - he uses spinach&lt;br/&gt;4 ice cubes&lt;br/&gt;1 1/2 cups Almond milk (can be more or less depending on the consistency you prefer)&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Dump it all in a blender, blend until smooth &amp;amp; Enjoy!</description>
